Project Description

Key Features:

  • Design and Build of 100,000 m3/day (22 MIGD) of Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Desalination Plants, TWO plants each of capacity 50,000 m3/day on the two floating barges.
  • The works include to perform study, design, engineering, permitting, insurance, procurement, manufacturing, factory testing, transport to site, erection, construction, commissioning and performance testing, management and supervision of the desalination facilities including all related auxiliaries to construct two floating desalination barges utilizing Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology producing a total of 100,000 m3/day of potable water with each 50,000 m3/day. The scope also includes to operate the two desalination plants for ten years.
